Developed as a conceptual design for a site in the Southern Highlands, the project is centred on creating an experience that encourages connection, pause, and a sense of escape from the pace of everyday life, offering a truefarm to table experience.
The design is intended to be both distinctive and adaptable, catering to a broad audience while responding to seasonal and climatic conditions. A turfed roof form provides protection from prevailing southerly winds, enhancing guest comfort while contributing a strong visual identity across the spaces. Expansive glazed roof elements establish a direct connection to the surrounding landscape and are designed to open for natural ventilation, with integrated roller blinds providing adaptable shading.
The result is a flexible, immersive environment designed to deliver a sense of calm, connection, and impact.
